Who are we?
The Canada Club of Victoria is a social club that has been in existence in Victoria since 1938. It provides a way for Canadians to meet the other Canadians living in Victoria, and enjoy social events of interest to our members.
We provide our members a Canada Club newsletter, which includes news from Canada and notices of upcoming club activities, as well as a membership directory which helps members keep in touch with other members.
We host several major social events such as Thanksgiving Dinner, Canada Day Celebrations, adults' and children's Christmas parties, and a mixture of other events - from bowling to winery tours - generally on a monthly basis. We try to provide a mix of adult and family-oriented activities.
Membership fees are used to publish and mail the newsletter and to fund general club overheads. Most events are conducted on a break-even basis.
The Canada Club of Victoria is run by an Executive staffed by volunteers. The Constitution is available for online viewing in the Members' Section.
