What better way to spend Canada's 150th birthday than by joining a bunch of crazy Canucks and wanna be Canucks, at the Canada Club of Victoria's Annual Canada Day Classic at the O'Brien Group Arena in Docklands.  

Start with a free skate on the best ice in Australia from 3:30 - 4:30 pm at the O'Brien Group Arena in Docklands.  Please Register here for your free ticket to skate or just to watch.  

Wear something Canadian and win prizes.  Members, Prospective members, Families & Friends are welcome to join in.

After your skate - find your spot in the stands and watch the Melbourne Ice take on the Sydney Bears from 5pm.   Book your tickets online via Ticketmaster here.  Book early as this is sure to be a popular game.

Be sure to bring a new Teddy Bear (wrapped in a plastic bag please ) or buy one at the rink in preparation for the Teddy Bear Toss, where we toss the teddies on the ice after the first goal.  

All teddies and proceeds from their sales goes to raise funds for Very Special Kids.  Check out their giant pink pig on your way into the arena.

After the game join the players and other club members upstairs for some pub grub.
