When you pay for admission tell them you are with the Canada Club and you have a booking for the 10:30 safari bus tour. They will print out a ticket, and guide you to the bus boarding bays. Boarding is at 10:20am. We will not have the bus exclusively, so try to wear a little something that gives you away as a Canuck so we can be seated close to each other. I tried to book a covered picnic site but they were all booked out. It is supposed to be partly cloudy and 15, but if they weather fails us the alternate plan is meeting at our house in point cook 10 minutes down the road. If you need any other info please check out the very informative website www.zoo.org.au or give me a call/email. RSVP is not necessary but it would be nice to know who we should be looking out for. |

Challenge matches between Victoria Curling Club and Canada Club Teams. - Fun 'Speil...... curling experience/ability strictly an option. Depending on # of teams, could play 4 or 5 four end games. Will be a light supper with tea/coffee all day (included in entry fee), with the ice rink kiosk open for a while. - Enter as a team, couples, or as individuals... we'll sort it out from there. 5-man teams will be fine if you think 4 or 5 games may be too gruelling for you. - Brooms, sliders, etc. available for hire (rent). - If you wish to stay overnight in Bendigo, we can supply contact #'s for accommodation. There's going to be some more Hockey Nights in Melbourne in May, starting with one on Thursday May 3rd, and while the right teams are playing, will continue every fortnight in May to include May 17th and May 31st as need be. HNIM will take on a more organic approach during playoff season, as I try to get the latest games possible depending on who has played when. Better details of games being shown should become available closer to game nights. |
