So what do the Executive actually do?

President
Coordinate committee activity, chair meetings, liaise with community and diplomatic representatives, follow up commitments, promote team work, fill occasional committee vacancies
Vice President
Assist in committee coordination, stand in absence of president, perform occasional extra curricular activity
Treasurer
Prepare and update annual budget, coordinate banking, general account keeping, pay occasional bills, prepare annual statements, arrange audit
Secretary
Record meeting minutes, maintain action lists, pick up and distribute mail from PO box, respond to mail where necessary, respond to club phone voicemail
Membership Coordinator
Maintain membership database, record new and retiring members, welcome new members, coordinate annual renewals, prepare mailing lists, coordinate membership drives, create annual membership directory
Newsletter Editor
Collate and edit material for monthly newsletter, solicit articles, prepare newsletter, coordinate printing (of non-electronic copies), distribute newsletter by email and post
Fundraising Coordinator
Coordinate fund raising activities for the club.
Functions Coordinator
Generate function ideas, plan and coordinate approximately 10 club activities per year, liaise with selected venues and service suppliers, deal with member's enquiries, collect payments
Website Coordinator
Coordinate club web site, liaise with web site host, post and maintain web content
Roving Executive
These members assist with miscellaneous functions such as merchandise and assisting other members.
